Earlier Acoma pottery is always
fun to come across especially when it's in good condition and
affordable. There is so much history, tradition, and charm in
these "rustic" pots. This piece was made in the 1960s
and left unsigned. It was likely given as a gift or used in a
ceremony as a payment.
One can only imagine the hands
that crafted this lovely vase and the stories it might tell as
it sat upon the shelf of a traditional Acoma home for decades.
